The Top Solar Contractors List is developed each year by the industry magazine Solar Power World to honor the work of solar installers in the United States. Solar firms in the utility, commercial, and residential markets are ranked by the number of kilowatts they installed in the previous year. Companies are grouped and listed by specific services, markets, and states. Good Energy Solutions is ranked No. 329 in the nation.
In 2024, the U.S. solar industry installed a record-breaking 50 gigawatts (GW) of new solar capacity. This represents a 21% increase compared to 2023 and marks the largest single-year increase for any energy technology in over two decades, according to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). Solar energy also accounted for 66% of all new electricity-generating capacity added to the U.S. grid in 2024, according to SEIA.
