Tonganoxie Solar Project Details
It takes a lot of electricity to run a farm. When Porter Valley Hops wanted to reduce their monthly energy bill, they turned to Good Energy Solutions to design and install a custom solar panel system.
The installation was placed on the roof of the utility building that houses the equipment the Porters use to process their hops. The system also helps power their home in Tonganoxie.
We installed thirty high-performance solar panels on the south-facing side of the roof. This design maximizes sun exposure, making the system highly efficient. The panels are built to withstand snow, wind, hail, and fire.
The solar panels used for this project carry a 25-year product & labor warranty. This system was designed and installed according to NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) best practices and NEC compliance.
