8 kW Residential Solar Installation in Lecompton, Kansas

Lecompton Solar Project Details

Lecompton Solar

The owner of this home in Lecompton, Kansas had us install this gorgeous solar ground mount because he wanted to save money and reduce his carbon footprint with solar power.  This system helps power his home and other buildings on his property. We worked with him to design this ground mounted grid-tied solar panel system utilizing 20 400 W high-performance SunPower modules.

With a ground mount system like this in Douglas County, we always make sure to keep all of the wiring and conduit tidy and organized.

We also installed a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery in the basement of the property that stores solar energy for use when the sun isn’t shining.  A battery also allows the solar panels to continue to generate energy even when the power grid goes down.

Our solar systems are designed and installed according to NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) best practices and NEC compliance.
