7.8 kW Residential Solar Installation in Topeka, Kansas

Topeka Solar Project Details

Topeka Solar Installation

The owner of this property, located in a rural area of Topeka, wanted to save money and reduce his carbon footprint with a solar power installation.  We worked with him to design this grid-tied solar panel system utilizing 24 327 W high-performance modules in 2016.

The solar panels used for this project carry a 25-year product & labor warranty.  This system was designed and installed according to NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) best practices and NEC compliance.

Trees shade much of his home, making impractical for a solar installation. Instead, we installed his solar panels on the roof of his barn, located next to his home. The south-facing metal roof of his barn made for the perfect place to install his solar panels. We anticipate this Topeka solar installation will continue to generate clean energy for decades to come.
