6.3 kW Residential REC Solar Installation in Lawrence, Kansas

Lawrence Solar Project Details

Lawrence Residential Solar

The owner of this Lawrence home wanted to make a positive impact on their carbon footprint and save money on their monthly electricity bills. To achieve this, they chose Good Energy Solutions to design and install 15 REC solar panels on their roof.

These REC solar panels come with a 25-year linear power output warranty and a guaranteed annual degradation rate of just 0.25%. This means the modules will still produce at least 92% of their nameplate power in their 25th year of operation. The system was also designed and installed in accordance with NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) best practices and NEC compliance.

We installed the system in the spring of 2025. With standard Evergy fees, the homeowner’s net metering credits, and typical usage, he paid only $6.82 on his first electric bill with the solar system active.

Good Energy Solutions installed all 15 REC solar panels on the roof of the home. This design allows for consistent energy generation throughout the day as the sun passes over the house. We expect this Lawrence solar panel installation to provide clean electricity for decades to come.
