10.8 kW Residential Solar Installation in Prairie Village, Kansas

Prairie Village Solar Project Details

Prairie Village Solar

The owners of this home in Prairie Village, Kansas wanted to save money and reduce their carbon footprint with a solar power installation on their roof.  We worked with them to design this grid-tied solar panel system utilizing 30 360 W high-performance modules and two Tesla Powerwall solar batteries.

The solar panels used for this project carry a 25-year product & labor warranty.  This system was designed and installed according to NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) best practices and NEC compliance.

The solar panels were split into two groups on the home’s tiered roof in order to take in as much sun during the day as possible. This configuration makes the system highly efficient and productive. The Powerwalls in the basement will also keep the home powered in case of an unexpected blackout. This Prairie Village solar installation will produce clean, inexpensive, renewable power for decades to come.
