Hutchinson Commercial Solar Farm Details
Good Energy Solutions helped Evergy (Westar at the time) install nearly 4,000 solar modules at their first solar farm in the state of Kansas. The project, completed in 2017, gives some Evergy customers the choice to receive a portion of their electricity from solar without having to install their own panels.
At the time of its commissioning, Dold Foods in Wichita received about 20% of its energy from the solar farm. The facility prepares and packages Hormel Natural Choice bacon products.
