CPKC STADIUM’S 75.6 KW COMMERCIAL SOLAR INSTALLATION IN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
The Kansas City Current partnered with Good Energy Solutions to promote sustainability and install new solar panels at the team’s new home, CPKC Stadium. This partnership sets the Current up as one of the leaders of solar adoption for sports stadiums in North America. The KC Current and Good Energy Solutions have chosen to use REC solar modules for this installation.
This commercial array features 180 REC Alpha Pure-R solar modules installed on the roof of the team store and atop a custom built pergola that shades the primary entry gates of the stadium. This design will take in as much sun as possible, making the system highly efficient. These panels are resilient against snow, wind, hail and fire. CPKC Stadium was able to take advantage of a 30% federal tax credit to help pay for the project.
23.375 KW RESIDENTIAL MAXEON SOLAR INSTALLATION IN INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI
We installed all of the modules on three seperate roof-tops, each facing south. In order to to maximize solar production, one set of solar panels were installed on ballasted racking. Installing solar panels at an angle can increase the amount of sunlight they receive, which allows them to produce more electricity.
SOLAR ON THE KCI TERMINAL PARKING GARAGE
This solar awning system will provide ongoing electricity for the terminal. Annually, this system supplies roughly the equivalent amount of energy to the airport as 20 average homes would use. These durable modules feature aluminum frames and tempered glass with an expected working life of 40 years.
24.6 KW RESIDENTIAL SOLAR INSTALLATION IN BELTON, KANSAS
The owner of this Belton property had Good Energy Solutions design and install a new ground-mounted solar panel system. We installed 60 Maxeon 410 solar panels on three ground mounts to help offset their monthly electric bills. The patented metal foundation of Maxeon cells allows them to bend under tough conditions where others break. And Maxeon panels are proven, with an expected useful life of 40 years and a return rate of less than 0.005%.
