Kevin Good, President of Good Energy Solutions

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas. He has been installing solar systems since 2007 and has become well versed in a wide range of renewable energy systems and efficiency measures. He is a licensed building contractor in multiple states including Kansas, Missouri and Alabama. He is an accomplished woodworker and remodeler in all phases of building. He is driven to give the renewable energy industry a good name through honesty and integrity. He is also co-founder of Solar Heat Exchange Mfg. and designed the Simple Drainback solar hot water system for domestic hot water and space heating applications.

Chris began as a residential and commercial PV installer. Became lead installer within the first year of employment, then earned the NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification in 2016 and a Kansas Journeyman’s License in 2021. He also eaned his NABCEP ESIP Certification in 2025.

Bryan is a commercial energy specialist at Good Energy Solutoins. He also works as an adjunct professor of Electrical Technology at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS.

Jacob started as a solar installer for Good Energy Solutions at the start of 2019. Within a year he became a crew lead and eventually pivoted into our Survey Department and Residential Design. In 2020 Jacob acquired his PV Installation Professional NABCEP Certification, and in 2021 he obtained his Journeyman Electricians license.

Devin began his solar experience as an installer in 2018 after an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army. While achieving renewables certifications and a BA in Business Administration, he continued to refine his craft; progressing to become a lead installer, technician, foreman, and operations manager. Devin is an advocate for orphaned solar system customers and is always looking for ways to expand his technical knowledge. Outside of work you will usually find him working on project cars or spending time with his family.
